Minis is generally for members under 8 years old - although slightly older nervous or novice children are more than welcome to attend any rallies for a time to assist their confidence and /or ability.
There are 6 rallies held at Downlands Equestrian Centre- Tytherington in the indoor school from September to March divided into three ability groups. These rallies last for one hour and consist of flatwork, jumping and general fun/socialising!
During the summer we hold 2-3 evening rallies at Southfield House Nr Nunney, Frome. The structure of all rallies is varied to keep the children interested.
The minis also have a Christmas pony party and Easter Bunny Ride (to be held on Good Friday this year). We also hope to hold a dismounted rally during the Easter holidays to allow the youngsters to gain pony club achievement badges.
